Explain what you mean by "informed in advanced", like do you mean me being informed before I make the template? Or Anna being informed before she goes out to fight?
So since the Shades wouldn't be fighting in that much of an offensive anyways, and the fact that the heavier the armor the less the person can move around, I'd assume that Anna would have type 1 or 2 right? Something think enough to protect from the basics but not too think that her movement would be hindered right?
Oh lovely, that would definitely take a while to do. Might want to have her training lots to make sure she can hit such targets.
I watched a few videos of the game, and between the horrible players and the eerie lighting, I couldn't spot too much AI. One video though, had a player so horrible that I was actually able to notice how each time the guy respawned, the baddies attacked in a different way. Of course it took a little while to notice since as I said the guy was terrible.
I usually like to have some kind of power but I didn't think that something like this would have that kind of thing. It seems kind of cut and dry to me.
So how do you tell when you can bring in something like that? I mean obviously not every character will have some kind of special superhuman ability, but how do you determine when it is allowed? I've been in plenty that are canon and based off of video games and those are easy to manipulate especially if there is some kind of travel between worlds. Actually I don't think I've ever been in a RP that didn't involve some kind of magical power to it.
That's actually why I would usually just use picture. I mean people would put these super long descriptions and I would forget it in a second and just remember if the person was someone to get along with or avoid. Though for me it's easy enough to get the basics of the personality, though harder to find the little quirks I can use. If it's not something I'm used to doing personally it is difficult for me to portray someone who does do it. I've tried making characters that were too different from my own personality and I simply could use them well, I usually have to have some basis of myself in it otherwise it fails. And suggestions?
